Tektronix TSG130A Tektronix TSG130A / 01 Multiformat Signal Generator $2,375.00
Component Analog Video Equipment Maintenance The TSG130A is a low cost, multiformat test signal generator tailored for the testing and servicing of Betacam, MII, S-VHS, Hi-8, NTSC and 525/60 GBR video equipment. The 10-Bit digital signal generation and internal architecture allow generation of signals with the accuracy and stability until now available only in higher cost generators. With the TSG130A, you get all the signals you need to test video levels, linearity, frequency response, phase response, clamp performance, chrominance noise, picture monitor alignment, inter-channel timing and more. For convenience in servicing S-VHS and Hi-8 VCRs, the TSG130A provides the NTSC and Y/C outputs simultaneously, with the Y/C outputs available both from BNC connectors and the standard 4-Pin S-connector. Two channels of 1 kHz audio tone are provided on balanced XLR outputs. These phase locked tones are easily identified with the selectable ID pulse in channel one. A dedicated black burst output is available as an option. This output is recommended for the service bench where an external reference signal is required for equipment fault diagnosis and adjustment. All this comes in a package size small enough not to clutter the service bench. And for field servicing, the TSG130A fits nicely in a briefcase with the rest of the necessary service tools. Features & Benefits Low Cost Test Signal Generator Tailored to Service Applications Supports Betacam, MII, S-VHS, Hi-8, GBR, and Composite Formats BNC and S-connector Outputs High Accuracy Test Signal Generation Two Channels of Audio Tone With Channel One Identification Compact and Lightweight Black Burst Output (Option) NTSC Test Signal Outputs

Tektronix VM100 Tektronix VM100 Video Measurement Set $3,250.00
The VM100 makes standard NTSC video measurements including the baseband measurements required by new FCC cable system regulations. This makes the VM100 a good choice for CATV engineers charged with meeting those requirements. Measurements are initiated with the push of a button. Once completed, the measurement results may be viewed on the LCD, stored in an internal nonvolatile memory or copied to a serial printer for archival. An internal time clock automatically inserts the time and date of each test for later analysis. Measurement results are averaged for a stable reading even in the presence of a low signal-to-noise ratio. A freeze mode can be used to stop all measurement activity so that intermediate results may be examined. When the input signal lacks suitable synchronizing information, such as inverted sync used for video encryption, an external sync reference input can be used. Features And Benefits Automatically Measures 13 Key Video Parameters Differential Gain Differential Phase Chrominance to Luminance Gain Chrominance to Luminance Phase Frequency Response 2T K-Factor Hum Signal to Noise Group Delay Bar Amplitude Sync Amplitude Burst Amplitude Luminance Non-linearity Verifies Compliance with Industry Standard TV Regulations Automatic "Signal ID" Fast, Accurate Measurements at a Touch of a Button Average Mode for Accurate Results in Low Signal to Noise Freeze Mode Suspends Testing to View Intermediate Results RS-232-C Port for Remote Access or Local Printer Output Simple and Intuitive Interface Internal Memory for Storage of Measurements Results Internal Time Clock for Dating Measurement Results RS-232-C Control Feature Allows Automatic Control of 1740A Series Waveform Monitor Line Select Mode for Viewing of Measured Signal
